In chapter 8 on page 120, Tim asked himself, what would Sam do in this situation? At first Tim thought he would do something brave, but then he realized Sam would do something more daring, like trying to fight to find their father. He decided not to really consider Sam’s point of view in this situation. In chapter 8 on page 121, he asked his self what would father do? The answer came pretty easily. He says, his father would load the wagon with goods for the tavern and then ride the oxen home so they’ll have stuff to sell in the tavern. Tim’s solution to the problem was to go walk in his father’s shoes, so he would think, act, and be his father and do the right thing.
If I were in that situation I would have done the exact same thing as Tim, because it seems like smartest and safest thing to do. If I were going to consider doing something else it would be to go into the nearby town and seek help It would have been to risky because I don’t know who I can trust. If I were to try to find father, alone without any weapons, I could be captured or hurt.

Tim thought Sam would do something brave, like track them down and rescue father using his bare hands, on page 120. But then he thinks what would father do. He decides that his father would take the wagon home because their lively hood depended on it.

I fell what Tim did was the right chose. But Tim got out of the wagon and walked on foot for awhile, I would have been to afraid to do that and just would have stayed in the wagon. Like Tim I would have gone home but after I got there I would start to try to get a gun so maybe I could go out and Try to find my Father.

Honesty i think tim thought Sam would do something like going after all the cowboys and kill them, like he said on 120. First thats not very smart and second they need those goods. But then he think what his dad would do ,go home since he need the goods so he went home

I would have probaly done the same thing as Tim. I also think when Tim walked ahead it was smart to say he was expecting a escort. But some thing i would off done different is slowly follow the cowbows and find Life.

On pages 120-121, Tim thinks about what his brother Sam would have done. The quote from the story, “Then I asked myself what Sam would do…he would do something daring. He would track Father down… and rescue him.” Even though he knew this is what Sam would have done, he knew he didn’t have the materials necessary to do such a daring thing.

Tim’s solution to the problem was probably a little different than planned. As mentioned on page 121, Tim was going to go back to the tavern and pray he would not encounter cow-boys. But, like Tim half-expected, he had a close encounter with cow-boys on pages 123-126. After this encounter with them, everything became hazy after his excessive drinking of wine. He eventually came home safely.

If I was in the same situation that Tim was in, I would have handled things a little differently. First off, to prevent this whole mess in the first place, I would have constantly made sure that I was focused and aware of where my father was. If I did not notice Father missing, I would have gone to the closest place where people are willing to help me. If I never encountered anyone, I would go back home, just like Tim.

In ch.8 p.120 Tim asks himself what would Sam do. After a moment he realizes the Sam would do something brave and courageous by going to save father. Theg on p.121 Tim thinks about what father would do, father would load up the wagon and continue the journey home. Tim finally solves the problem by continuing the journey home.

If I were in the same situation I probaly would of done the same thing asTim did because. I know that if father was dead and I went to go save him it would have been a comepleate wast of time

In chapter 8 Tim asks himself what his brother, Sam would do. Sam would have done something brave, for instance, finding and saving Father. Then Tim asks himself what Father would do. Father would have taken the wagon home so that the shop would have supplies to sell. Tim finally solves his problem by doing as Father would have done.

If I were in the same situation as Tim, I would have done close to the same thing. Firstly I would have thought about what I was doing rather than lolligagging. I would have kept an eye on Father and on the road. Secondly, I would have not left the wagon unattended to look for tracks. Instead I would have taken the wagon with me. Once I noticed Father was taken by the cowboys, I would have stayed on the trail and gone home. Then I would get some people to help me look for him.

After Father is taken, Tim has a debate with himself over what he thought would be best to do. He considered what Sam's actions would be, and then his father's. As quoted from pages 120-121, "Sam would do something daring", "He would search for father and rescue him". But Father would have kept calm and went back home. Tim decided to do what his father would do, and followed through.

If I were in Tim's position, I would have done what Sam would have done and what Father would do. I would continue the journey home, on the lookout for Father. As soon as I made it back to Redding, I would arrange and join a search party to try and find my dad.

In chapter 8, Tim notices that his father had fallen behind a lot. So he thought to himself what Sam would do and what father would do? He knew thought that he shouldn’t do what Sam would’ve done, the brave and courageous thing. Since he didn't do what Sam would’ve done he did what he thought father would’ve done. He thought that would’ve been to go home with the cattle and all of the supplies so that his house hold didn't run out of supplies.

On page 120, Tim asks himself whta he thought Sam would have done. He thought that Sam would have just ran in there and saved Father. Tim knew that that probably wouldn't have worked, because he would have been captured and the goods would have been stolen.

I probably would have done what Tim did. I would have taken the goods back o the tavern to keep it opperating. However, I would have gone back with some other people to try to find/save him.
